Tammy Dinh is a medical student at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, Class of 2028. From Norwalk, CA, she was a first-generation college student and graduated from UC Riverside in 2021, where she double majored in Neuroscience and Biology. During her undergraduate years, she studied abroad with UCEAP’s physics program, served as a math tutor, and peer educator, and was involved in cognitive neuroscience research. After graduating, she took 3 gap years where she led a street medicine clinic, was a cancer research trainee, cardiology medical assistant, and clinical research coordinator for pulmonology. Tammy looks forward to mentoring prospective students as they apply to MD/DO programs. Outside school, she loves pilates/yoga classes, concerts, traveling, and embroidery.
