Nate is in his third year of the USC Keck MD-PhD Program, having completed the preclinical years of his medical education, and is in his first year of the USC Neurosciences Graduate Program. His research interests include how neuroimaging can explain the intersection of executive function and eating behavior in childhood and adolescent obesity. Since beginning medical school, he has served three years on the Evaluations and Selections committee and one year on the Admissions and Recruitment committee. Additionally, he has held several leadership roles at the medical school, including Student Body President, and served on the board of the LGBTQ+ medical student interest group. Outside of the lab and classroom, you can find Nate on his yoga mat or instructing yoga classes at a couple of LA studios.
