Michael North is pursuing his MD at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine as a member of the Class of 2022. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA with a B.S. in Biology. During his gap year, he completed a fellowship at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research working on a candidate vaccine for Shigellosis. Originally from Maryland, he is enjoying medical school in the Roanoke Valley!
