Micaela received her B.S. in Biology and minor in Russian from the United States Air Force Academy and currently attends the University of Florida College of Medicine. She has been interested in surgery from a very young age and is passionate about moving the field forward. Her current interests include patient safety and outcomes, medical education, and cardiac valvular pathologies. When not in the hospital, she can be found in the gym, at karaoke, or hitting the slopes.
