John is a 4th year medical student at PCOM-GA near Atlanta, GA. He was born in LA, then raised in a combination of South Korea, LA, and Atlanta. He attended the University of Georgia for undergrad, earning a dual degree in Biology and Psychology. Upon graduation, he worked in an ophthalmic practice for 1 year, followed by 2 years researching at the National Institutes of Health in Rockville, MD (Dermatology, then HIV Vaccines). He is currently applying to Emergency Medicine for residency. He spends his (very limited) free time on video games, travel, and music.
