Esther is a first year MD-PhD student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She grew up in both the busy streets of Seoul and the cornfields of Indiana. After graduating from Indiana University in 2018 with a B.S. in Neuroscience with honors and minors in music, psychology, and biology, she spent two years doing research at the NIH. Her interests lie in using genetic and genomic approaches to study neurological disorders. Outside of school, she loves to play music, read, and garden. Esther is excited to help others navigate the often intimidating and long application process!
