Emily Kim is a DPM candidate at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her B.S. in Biophysics with a double minor in Chemistry and Psychology from Wake Forest University. She worked at University of Pennsylvania as an HPV researcher for 3 years before starting medical school, and is interested in pursuing research throughout medical school. Emily is passionate about tutoring and mentoring students of any background in an effort to promote diversity in medicine. She joined Project SHORT in the summer of 2022, hoping to raise awareness of podiatric medicine.
