Dr. Dzifa J. Avalime is currently a PGY-1 resident at the Hudson Valley VA. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Howard University in May 2020. She was born and raised in Harlem, New York and studied chemistry at Pace University before attending pharmacy school. Her current pharmacy interests include geriatrics, specifically mental health and long term care. Outside of pharmacy, Dzifa enjoys travelling, trying new seafood restaurants and spending time with her friends.
