David Wu is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago. A lifelong Illinois resident, he received his BS in Biological Sciences and a minor in philosophy from the University of Illinois Chicago Honors College summa cum laude. In college and medical school, he received numerous competitive grants and awards for his research on herpetic eye disease and drug delivery. Above all, however, David has a lifelong passion for all things teaching, serving, and mentoring. With eight years of experience and counting, he has coached many students to success in medical school admissions and entrance/board exams. Outside the hospital, he can be found testing new recipes in the kitchen or serving it up on the tennis court.
