Chloe Qiu grew up in the rural countryside in China and immigrated to the United States when she was 11. She lived in Chicago before moving to Connecticut for college in 2015. At Wesleyan University, Chloe studied Chemistry and Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and spent a lot of time in the laboratory. To explore her interest in cancer immunology, she did her post-baccalaureate training in antibody therapeutics at the National Institutes of Health. Chloe is looking forward to starting medical school at the University of Illinois this fall. She is passionate about improving healthcare access and quality for immigrant and low-income communities.
