Ann Nguyen is an incoming medical student at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Class of 2027. Originally from the Bay Area, she graduated from UC San Diego in 2021 with a degree in General Biology and a minor in Design. During her undergraduate years, she conducted research in developing novel diagnostic tools by integrating design and artificial intelligence. After graduating, she continued her research and worked as a dermatology medical assistant. Ann is passionate about applying design to medicine and providing mentorship to students and applicants. She also enjoys weightlifting, thrifting, and going to concerts!
