Hillary K. Hecht’s research focuses on implementing policies that primary care clinics use to enact size-inclusive care. Their general research interests include organizational, clinic-level policies impacting access to care, particularly for people historically excluded from healthcare. Hillary is a PhD candidate in the department of Health Policy & Management, minoring in Organizations and Implementation Science at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Previously, Hillary earned their Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan during which they researched access to care for transgender and racialized patients with chronic illness.
