Eliza (she/her) grew up in rural Wisconsin and is currently a doctoral student in school psychology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She earned her B.S. in 2018 in Psychology (minored in Education and Educational Services) and worked in public schools before attending graduate school. Eliza’s research interests center around mental health literacy, consultation, family–school partnerships supporting school mental health, and rural communities. Outside of research, Eliza enjoys practicum experiences conducting psychoeducational assessments, providing social-emotional and academic interventions, and consulting with families and educators to best support students’ well-being. In her spare time, Eliza can be found hiking, kayaking, listening to podcasts, eating cheese curds, or reading a good book.
