Edan is a 1st year computational neuroscience Graduate student at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute (PNI). She is currently in the rotation phase of her program so has not yet settled in a permanent lab, but is mainly interested in human brain development (neuroimaging), and computational psychiatry. Prior to coming to Princeton, Edan earned her bachelors and masters of neuroscience at Ben Gurion University in Israel, focusing on brain oscillations in EEG and MEG data, as well as behavioral and genetic research in populations with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). As an international applicant, and the first in her family to pursue a college degree in the US, she started her path rather clueless about the american education and application system, and had good friends and strangers help her along the way from a dream, to applications, to interviews, to admission. She is thus excited to pass on what she has gathered along the way and help other applicants in this confusing path. Outside of science, she loves spending time outdoors, hiking, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family.
