Dan went to Swarthmore College for an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and is now at the University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. Between school bouts, he was a research technician at Temple University School of Medicine for two years. His current research in the lab of Dr. John Dani uses electrophysiological and neuropharmacological methods to investigate neural substrates underlying the transition to drug addiction. His graduate work has been supported by two T32 Institutional Training Grant Fellowships in Systems and Integrative Biology and Translation Addiction Research.
