Chloe (she/her) is a recent graduate of the Molecular and Cellular Biology PhD program at UC Berkeley. She got her undergraduate degree from UMass Amherst in 2018, where she studied biochemistry. In grad school, she looked at how an oncogenic herpesvirus interfaces with host cell transcriptional machinery to selectively express viral proteins during infection. She is now working at a biotech startup in the Bay Area. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and painting, running, cooking, and learning languages on Duolingo.
