She/her/hers

Chaela Nutor is a first year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student. Chaela was born and raised near Columbus, Ohio, but is a proud second-generation Ghanaian immigrant. She received a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, Chaela did a post-baccalaureate fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center where she worked with the Autism Center of Excellence project. During this time as a Developmental Psychopathology and Social Neuroscience fellow, she confirmed her passion to better understand the environmental factors that lead to disparities in child development, which is her current research goal. Outside of research, she enjoys exercising, dancing, and trying new foods.
