She/her/hers

Brittany is currently a chemistry PhD student at Northwestern University working in the lab of Professor Songi Han. Brittany obtained her B.S. in Chemistry from San Diego State University in 2021. Her current research focuses on using spectroscopy, namely EPR and NMR, to probe the tau protein’s ordered assembly into abnormal filaments; a hallmark of human neurodegenerative diseases. Brittany hopes to better understand tau's aggregation mechanism into disease specific fibrils. In her free time, Brittany enjoys going to the gym, going to the beach, and relaxing with her dogs.
