Brenna is a second year PhD student in the Molecular and Cell Biology program at the University of California, Berkeley. She is interested in innate immunology and host-pathogen interactions. She received her B.A. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, where she studied the role of the mitochondrial sirtuin SIRT5 in breast cancer. Outside of lab, she enjoys running, playing board games, and trying new food.
