Ben is a second year PhD student at MIT studying computational neuroscience. His research is interdisciplinary and works closely with both neuroscientists and computer scientists to better understand human intelligence and artificial intelligence. He explores how both the human brain and AI systems perform fundamental tasks, such as processing images and sounds, and compares their results, leading to exciting advancements in both fields. Ben completed his undergraduate degree at Boston University where he studied biomedical engineering. Outside of research, he enjoys hiking and camping, playing sports, and reading.
