Avni is a first year PhD student in the Materials Science and Engineering program at MIT. She did her undergrad at UC Berkeley, where she studied materials science, bioengineering, and computer science, and is hoping to work at the intersection of these fields during grad school. In her free time, she enjoys reading, snacking, drinking tea, and working on puzzles. She's excited to be part of the Project SHORT team!
