Originally from New Jersey, Ashley is a PhD student in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of California-Los Angeles. She earned her B.A. in 2021 from Rutgers University- New Brunswick, where she studied Psychology with minors in Latin and Statistics. As a McNair Scholar in undergrad, Ashley studied how long term drug use can influence changes in the brain. Ashley's research broad interests are understanding the environmental and pharmacological factors that influence substance use disorder and psychiatric diseases. Ashley's current research looks at how chronic stress can influence future decision making.
