Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics

Arkya (*) was born and raised in Kolkata. He got his bachelor's degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2019. Since then, he has been a PhD student at MIT, specializing in theoretical condensed matter physics. Arkya's research interests are informed by his fascination with the emergent properties of complex interacting soups of particles. During the course of his graduate studies, he has been developing theoretical tools to advance the goal of classifying all known phases of quantum mechanically interacting many-body systems. When not thinking about Physics, he likes to cook, swim, play the guitar, learn new languages, and travel. [(*) pronounced "AR-ko"]
