Aoife completed her bachelors degree in bioengineering: biotechnology with a minor in global health from the University of California at San Diego. As an undergrad, Aoife’s research concerned the immune response to cancer and the role of tumor-draining lymphatics (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-022-31941-w). Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies mechanisms of cellular memory following exposure to pathogens. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading (especially mysteries), and traveling.
