He/him

Andrew is a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow with the National Science Foundation (NSF). He received his B.Sc. (2016) and Ph.D. (2021) in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He next worked as a postdoc at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Andrew’s research interests focus on catalysis and reaction engineering for sustainable chemical processes, with research projects covering biomass valorization, plastics upcycling, fertilizer synthesis, and hydrogen production. He now works at NSF on an inter- agency working group focused on net-zero industrial processes in a circular economy.
