Alex is a second-year Ph.D. student in the neuroscience program at UCSF. He recently joined the lab of Daniele Canzio, where he studies molecular mechanisms that drive the formation of neural circuits. Alex grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and went to undergrad at Washington University in St. Louis. He loves playing tennis, exploring new places, and going on afternoon coffee runs when he should be in lab!
