Ruth is currently a PhD student at Florida International University in the Knight Foundation School of Computer Science. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2023. She currently studies Computer Science and conducts research at the intersection of Federated Learning, High-Performance Computing, and Sustainability as a member of the solid lab, advised by Dr. Hadi Amini. She has been involved in mentoring/volunteer programs in various organizations like NSBE, SWE, Chi Omega, FIRST, and more. She is excited to help and influence the next generation of potential graduate students.
