Rollie Hampton is a graduate of the Honors Program in Biological Sciences at Cornell University where he received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and completed the biology major with a concentration in Human Nutrition. Post-grad, Rollie participated in a two-year post-baccalaureate research program (PREP) offered at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He decided to stay at Mount Sinai for his graduate studies and is currently in his 4th year in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD). Rollie has joined the lab of Dr. Sarah Stanley for his PhD work where he is studying neural circuits in the pancreas and is defining their roles in islet hormone secretion.
