Ramie Fathy is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Pennsylvania. He grew up in Knoxville, TN and received a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University before spending a year as a research and patient support intern at the UCSF Breast Care Center. During medical school, Ramie has continued to pursue his interests in advocacy and research through a variety of initiatives, most recently through the Philadelphia Organization of Health Professions Students, through which he also serves as a mentor. In his free time, Ramie enjoys writing about medical topics for the general public, live music (he worked as a concert writer pre-pandemic!), podcasting, hiking, tennis, and cooking. He's really excited about the opportunity to speak with others considering a career in medicine or who may be interested in any of the same non-medical activities, so please feel free to reach out!
