Rachit completed his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2020 and went on to start his MD-PhD at the University of Pennsylvania in August of the same year. His past research experience was largely in applying computational methods to improve research methods and processes, and he hopes to apply his engineering and computational experience to inform and improve clinical practice in the future. Much of his involvement outside of studying has been in the realm of curriculum development and medical education, particularly with the goal of addressing inequities and creating an environment where everyone can learn effectivly and achieve their greatest potential. In free time, Rachit enjoys reading novels, playing video games, and running. He is very excited to have the opportunity to help applicants navigate the long and often confusing application process for MD-PhD programs across the country.
