Adrienne is a first year Ph.D. student in Social Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is interested in how body states (e.g. hunger) and beliefs about the body�s role in emotions combine to create emotional experiences. She earned her B.A. in 2018 from UNC-Chapel Hill where she studied Psychology and Women's in Gender Studies. After undergrad, she spent two years working as a full-time research assistant. She credits her amazing mentors for supporting her capacity for research and helping her navigate the application process. Besides research, Adrienne loves being outside, practicing yoga, and reading speculative fiction.
