Megan Louderman, PsyD, is passionate about supporting the rising class of psychologists. When she was in undergrad, she struggled to find her calling but knew she needed a fulfilling career where she could help people. Her family was supportive but did not have much insight into the graduate school process. She is grateful to a few psychology professors who shared their journeys and offered guidance. After graduation, she got a job in research and program evaluation at a community mental health center where she found that she loved hearing people’s stories and would be best suited for the clinical aspects of the field. She attended the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology (PsyD) program and developed interests in developmental disabilities as well as trauma. Following an internship in Neuropsychological and Educational Testing at California Pacific Medical Center, she completed a fellowship at the University of Colorado's Harris Program for Child Development and Infant Mental Health. As a lifelong learner, she opted to complete a second year of fellowship through Children's Hospital Colorado in the department of Developmental Pediatrics. When she is not working, she enjoys exploring all of the beauty Colorado has to offer with her fiancé and their 1-year-old golden retriever.
