Dr. Leah Bakst (she/her) received her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Washington, and a BA in both Music and Neuroscience from Oberlin College. As a postdoctoral fellow at Boston University, she studies human decision-making through the lens of the visual system. In particular, she spends a lot of time thinking about how we make decisions in the face of uncertainty, how we update our beliefs in response to new information, and what our eye movements might tell us about these processes. Outside of the lab, Leah plays keys/saxophone in a band and participates in too many book clubs.
