Hannah Case is a 24 year old M3 currently completing her clinical rotations at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine (MD). The daughter of two Walt Disney World employees, she grew up in Orlando, Florida and was not exposed to medicine until she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 11. Since then she's been an advocate for diabetes education and has continued to fall in love with the medical field. She graduated from undergrad at Tulane University in 2018 where she majored in Biological Chemistry and began medical school shortly after. While many of her classmates come from a long lineage of physicians and health care providers, Hannah is the first and only member of her family interested in medicine. She has struggled with imposter syndrome and understands how intimidating applying to medical school can be for students not raised in that environment. She loves to mentor others and has recently earned a position on the Mayo Clinic Admissions Committee. She is passionate about education, global health, patient advocacy, and pediatrics. When she's not studying she enjoys cooking for friends, spending time with family, and exploring new places.
