Chloe (she/her) is a current 3rd year PhD student at UC Berkeley in the Molecular and Cellular Biology program. She graduated from UMass Amherst in 2018, where she studied how molecular chaperones help client proteins to fold properly. Today, she looks at how an oncogenic herpesvirus interfaces with host cell transcriptional machinery to selectively express viral proteins during infection. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and painting, running, cooking, and learning languages on Duolingo.
