Alyssa Day is a first-year PhD student at University of Houston where she is pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology. Her research interests include neuropsychological outcomes following acquired brain injury and the role of pain in those outcomes.
Alyssa received her B.A. in Psychology from Wake Forest University in North Carolina and then returned to her home state of Maryland where she worked as a research assistant at Kennedy Krieger Institute prior to pursuing graduate studies. In addition to her work, she enjoys playing violin, rock climbing and exploring the parks of Houston with her dog.
